They were finishing their anniversary breakfast on the balcony when Jill wondered aloud if they could tour the observatory.
“Can you ski on it?” Jack said.
“No,” she said. “You don’t ski in Hawaii.”
“But why not? Hit the beach in the morning and the slopes in the afternoon,” he said. “They’re missing out on a whole industry. You can’t do that anywhere else.”
“It’s not. You can’t.” Jill shook her head. “We’re in Hawaii. You can ski back home.”
“But back home isn’t skiing on a volcano,” Jack said.
“I’m going to throw you into a volcano,” Jill said.
