Weekly Photo Challenge – Creepy: “This week, show us something creepy — because hey, we can’t take photos of rainbows and puppies every day.”

Creepy? Excellent. The perfect excuse to share my pictures of the dead bird on the front lawn.

AAARGH!~ It’s Monday morning, did we have to do creepy on a Monday morning? Very very well done – Hitchcockian in feel. And the B&W adds to the feel. But couldn’t this have been like a Friday or Wednesday challenge?

We did not have to do creepy on a monday morning. Ha! Sorry about that. 🙂 The challenge actually comes out on fridays, but my posting schedule is photo on monday, story on thursday. So we got creepy for this start to the week.

If Monday is your photo day, then we did have to do it today. I’ll live. 😀

Glad you’ll live! I can not be the one responsible for the loss of Paul. Too many people enjoy your witty, insightful, and thoughtful comments. Myself included. 🙂

How could you have known to photo a dead bird? Just waiting for “creepy” subject, huh? I enjoyed your interchange with Paul.

I thought it was interesting, the way it was laying there with so many feathers and very little flesh. The curl of the feet, the eyes, it was all, well, interesting. So I spent more time than I should have crouched on the ground photographing it to get the right tone and mood. I knew some day I would have cause to use it for something. Creepy for the WPC was perfect!

Ooh, creepy! Anything dead creeps me out. My kitties must know this because they keep dragging stuff in. Great photos, Melanie. Poor birdie. He looks a bit chewed on. Perfect for the theme!

The whole time I was taking pictures to get the right angle and light, I was thinking, “don’t come to life. don’t come to life.”

That would be creepy, too! What a scene that would be.

The scene would have been me screaming like a madwoman and running away like a madman was chasing me. 🙂

I can see why. Birds are a bit freaky to me anyway!
